Cancer treatment took me back to baby food

In 2021, i was diagnosed with cancer of the nasopharynx. This had attacked my nose and grown down to my throat. I got started on chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment which came along with severe nutrition related side effects. I lost my appetite, taste, got wounds in the mouth that run down to the throat and my weight immensely reduced from 68Kgs to 35Kgs for a 20+ year old. My immunity was very low too and i had to embark on my nutrition journey.

Seven months down the road, I was free from cancer but not free from malnutrition. The first step I took was getting to know what's right for me to eat, what my body required and how i was going to take it in my body. It took me patience and still does, to re-learn how to eat from baby food until I was able to chew and swallow solid food again. I am currently 58Kg, have better sleep and physically fit.
